One of NYC’s largest day spas that has been in business for ten (10) years is seeking marketing and public relations interns for the Fall. Interns will work closely with the company's senior marketing executives, obtain hands-on experience in marketing, business development & public relations and work on exciting projects with companies such as Victoria’s Secrets, L’Oreal and Sephora. Eighty percent (80%) of our clients are women and the Interns will help us develop new partnerships with other companies in NYC that have a large female clientele.

Specifically, the Intern will perform the following responsibilities:

• Promote the Spa’s services and skincare products to local & national beauty & fashion media

• Conduct surveys of existing clients

• Attend trade shows, health fairs and other networking events

Internship Requirements

Requirements:

• Enrolled at a four year college (junior and seniors preferred) or recent college graduate

• Computer & technology savvy and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to handle multiple projects and adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a rapid and chaotic environment

• Able to work independently and in collaborative teams

• An excellent researcher

• Detail oriented and well organized

• A self starter who combines a high level of creativity with superb organization skills

Prior experience in marketing and communications is preferable but not required.
