Why is this posting still here, then? Good question. For a few reasons:
For remembering. If you applied for this internship and then promptly lost the contact info, you can still find it here.
For posterity. Say you're looking for a summer internship, but they haven't been posted yet. You're patient, but you still want an idea of what different companies offer. You can see the postings from past years to get an idea.
For kicks. Maybe we like it this way. :-)
