Good question. For a few reasons:

  2. For posterity. Say you're looking for a summer internship, but they haven't been posted yet. You're patient, but you still want an idea of what different companies offer. You can see the postings from past years to get an idea.

With election season heating up, what better place to be this fall than interning in Washington, DC? The Media Research Center (www.mrc.org) is looking for fall interns who are interested in Journalism, News Analysis, PR and Marketing. Whether you are reporting the news from Capitol Hill, blogging on NewsBusters.org, developing an ad campaign or pitching stories to FOX News, you’ll get a hands-on experience you won’t find anywhere else.

We’ve extended our deadline one month to September 1. Internships start September 15 and run through December 12. (Dates can be flexible). We prefer full-time interns, but will work with school schedules. All internships pay $9.00/hr.
