I interned with the Centralized Travel Advertising Program, which is a special program ISM does with Choice hotels and the AAA TourBook. Although I really enjoyed working with my supervisor, I felt pretty disconnected from the rest of the agency. I was given a lot of responsibility in terms of mailing stuff out and making sure I did it without errors but I didn't feel myself being able to push any further but again I am not sure if this was just the nature of the Centralized Travel Advertising Program. I did get good experience working in a professional office environment and I did get to meet other interns so there was opportunity for networking at that level.

In my opinion, this internship was suitable for someone who wanted to get there feet wet in an agency. With that said I believe someone who shows that they are eager to learn and can prove that they can learn fast and as they go will get this position. Since the time I worked there the HR person has left for another job, so this may or may not work.
