MARKETING INTERNSHIP - 2-3 days/week starting FALL 2007 We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to spend a Fall / Winter 2007 / 2008 assisting our Field Marketing executives, Marketing Communications Manager and Product Marketing Manager in a variety of ways. We plan to have another 4 internships available for the SUMMERl 2008. Primary Roles and Responsibilities:* ? Learn about corporate marketing by ?job shadowing? marketers and others. ? Perform web searches for pertinent media information. ? Distribute marketing collateral to outside offices and customers. ? Assist with the monthly Marketing Newsletter formatting. ? Format press clips into PowerPoint slide format. ? Create, edit and update rate cards, etc. ? This internship may at times also support other areas at BIG Media including field work and and face to face client meetings.REAL WORLD STUFF. Responsibilities are subject to change and, as with any internship, flexibility and enthusiasm in taking on tasks is very important.

Internship Requirements

? Your school must have a mechanism (EG:"independent study") to provide course credit for real-world marketing work experience. ? A desire to learn more about marketing in the emerging non-traditional media industry. ? Working toward a marketing and/or communications degree and completed at least your sophomore year by June 2007. ? Have excellent MS Office Suite skills. ? Understand the web and be able to use search tools. ? Possess excellent listening and written communication skills. ? Must have a strong attention to detail. ? Must have transportation to and from Chicago Il, or Northfield IL.
