Intebrand is a leading brand consulting firm of the Omnicom group. The company holds an internship program every summer that exposes interns to both departmental work as well as a group intern project with a real non-profit client. There are about 12 different departments of which prospective interns may apply for (i.e. Insights, Verbal Identity, Brand Valuation, PR/Marketing, Client Services, Design, Implementation, Strategy, etc). It is a diversified agency, yet strictly focused on branding. People live and breathe branding at Interbrand. To further familiarize yourself with branding, check out interbrand.com or brandchannel.com. Interbrand has exposed me to a great real-world experience in this industry. As an intern at Interbrand, you not only learn by observation but mainly by experimentation through current client accounts/projects. You are given the best of both worlds: your own departmental work as well as your own non-profit internship group project. Time management is key for an enriching experience such as this. You are surrounded by talented individuals of all backgrounds from across the world. It is an idea-oriented firm, your ideas will be respected as long as you voice them. Check it out- the branding industry is growing stronger than you think.
