Our team consists of curious and knowledgeable planners who develop creative solutions to current business problems, challenges, and questions and provide marketing clients with insights about their target consumers. INTERN POSITION AVAILABLE We have an immediate opening for an intern to gain experience with planning and qualitative research at AMP Insights through the end of the fall semester (September 2007 ? December 2007). In this position, the intern will be a resource of consumer knowledge for AMP Insights. ? Specifically: ? Draft online surveys and manage databases ? Enter, analyze and report on qualitative data ? Conduct secondary research to uncover information about a given segment and/or industry ? Attend brainstorms and generate ideas and insights for new business pitches ? Participate in agency projects which may involve conducting street intercepts or phone interviews ? Manage recruiting and screening of respondents for qualitative research projects ? Edit video clips and record respondent quotes from Undercover Focus Groups and Discovery Sessions ? Additionally: ? Assist with mailings ? Assist with travel plans, schedules and other logistics ? Photocopying and scanning of project assignments when needed
To qualify, potential interns must meet the following criteria: ? At least 1-2 years college education with a focus on advertising, marketing or understanding human behavior ? Demonstrate a passion for seeking insights and answers ? Prior experience analyzing and interpreting data and information ? Be resourceful in using the Internet and other research tools to uncover information ? Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills ? Strong written and oral communication skills ? A strong desire to continuously learn ? A penchant for creativity and eye for details ? MUST be available at least 8 hours a week (Our office hours are 9:00-5:30pm.) This position is paid or can count as course credit.
