Good question. For a few reasons:
If you're considering a career in consumer public relations and marketing, marlo marketing/communications offers internships to select college students during Fall, Winter and Summer terms. Intern responsibilities may include: * Compiling press clips and writing media placement reports to measure public relations results * Updating media database * Proof reading and editing documents * Assisting with special event planning and implementation * Working with vendors * Conducting research * Assisting with administrative assignments
Candidates must be extremely detail-oriented, exhibit an enthusiastic personality and have a willingness to learn. Priority is given to students completing an internship for college credit. All internships are non-paid, and at least 15 hours of work a week is required, except during the summer when we only accept full-time applicants.
